Emma Smith is an artist based in London, UK. Emma works internationally with previous exhibitions including Tate Modern, Whitechapel Gallery and Camden Arts Centre, UK. She is currently working on a residency in Canada that has included research in Calgary, Haida Gwaii, Vancouver and the Mackenzie Delta.

Organized by Smith, the event will explore a series of questions stemming from the artists’ practices around the embedded knowledge in place, names, language, and art.
