    GAIL SCOTT
    October 26, 1999

Conjuring whimsy and sensuality… the diarist’s wildly wicked, delicious sense of humour (means)… My Paris can be read again and again. — MontrĂ©al Gazette

Gail Scott reads from her sixth book and third novel My Paris published in April, 1999 by Mercury Press to critical acclaim. The fictive diary, set in 90s Paris, is authored by a self-deprecating pleasure-seeking diarist mistakenly seeking the old Paris of avant-garde artists and rebels.

A joint presentation with Artspeak Gallery, The Writers’ Union of Canada and Mercury Press.
